Jacob Fatu attacked Reigns after the Original Tribal Chief took on Solo Sikoa’s challenge to take the ulafala from him.

Reigns initially overtook Sikoa and Tama Tonga and slowly put on the ulafala before the cheers of the Orlando, Florida, crowd.

But Fatu assaulted Reigns out of nowhere, throwing him into the ring post before Sikoa and Tonga regained their bearings. Eventually, Fatu and Tonga lifted Reigns up for Sikoa, who powerbombed his former leader through the announcer’s table.

The trio then threw an injured Reigns into the ring, and all three posed over him as the show ended.

Fatu had notably been out for a couple weeks. Concerns were raised after a diving splash to Cody Rhodes onto the announce table outside of the ring during Rhodes’ Universal title match against Sikoa at SummerSlam on Aug. 3. Fatu notably grabbed his right leg and had trouble getting up to his feet afterward.

Triple H said in his post-SummerSlam press conference that Fatu got “a little banged up” but did not specify his injury. Then images soon emerged of Fatu in a walking boot on his right foot.

However, Fatu came back with a vengeance Friday, and the Bloodline gained the upper hand over its former Tribal Chief thanks to his efforts.
