Nick Foles left his mark on several NFL teams throughout his career, but one team stood out to him more than any other.

The quarterback spoke highly of his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, saying it was the only place he felt “at home.”

“That locker room in Philadelphia, you could play for so long because of the brotherhood and everything about that city and that team,” Foles said on Green Light with Chris Long. “Even when I look back at my career, I’m so grateful for the other teams I played for besides Philadelphia because they gave me an opportunity to play, they gave me an opportunity to be a part of their organization and their city, but when I look back at my career, the only time I felt at home was Philadelphia.”

The Eagles drafted Foles in the third round out of Arizona in 2012, and he played the first three seasons of his career in Philadelphia. After stints with the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs, he re-joined the Eagles in 2017 to play backup to Carson Wentz.

Wentz suffered a torn ACL in Week 14 and Foles came into to finish the rest of the season under center. He established himself as an Eagles legend in the 2017 Super Bowl against the New England Patriots when he threw for 373 passing yards and three touchdowns, also catching a touchdown pass when Philadelphia ran the “Philly Special.”

After Foles’ time with the Eagles, he went on to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, but his time in Philadelphia will always be the most memorable.
