AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Nix has emerged as an Offensive Rookie of the Year contender, but for now he’ll gladly take his weekly honor following a sterling showing in the Broncos’ 38-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Nix was stellar to the tune of 28-of-33 passing (84.8%) for 307 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions and a 145.0 rating.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Hill came at the Cleveland Browns from all angles, leading the Saints to a resounding 35-14 win on Sunday. Hill had 138 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries, averaging an eye-popping 19.7 yards per carry. He added 50 yards on eight receptions and also had an 18-yard completion. It was a full Sunday for Hill.

AFC Defensive Player of the Week

The Bills’ statement-making 30-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs wasn’t all about offense. Bernard and the defense came up huge and the linebacker led the way, stuffing the box score with eight tackles, a sack and an interception. The sack came on a third-down play to lead to a Chiefs punt, while the INT locked up the win.

NFC Defensive Player of the Week

The rookie safety had a stellar showing Sunday in the Rams’ 28-22 win over the New England Patriots. Kinchens filled up the box score with eight tackles, a forced fumble, a tackle for loss, a pass breakup and an interception. The latter came with less than two minutes remaining in the game and allowed L.A. to kneel out the victory.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Boswell was automatic and all the scoring the Steelers would need in their 18-16 win over the archrival Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Boswell was a perfect 6 for 6 on field goals, scoring every Pittsburgh point and converting three field goals of 50 yards or more. Per NFL Research, Boswell’s six makes are the most by any kicker in a game at Acrisure Stadium (opened in 2001) and the most by a kicker playing in Pittsburgh since Gary Anderson’s half-dozen all the way back in 1988.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Brooks blocked a defeat and propelled the Packers to a 20-19 win over the rival Chicago Bears on Sunday. Brooks, who also had a pair of tackles, burst up the gut on the final play of the game, deflecting the Bears’ game-winning field attempt and securing the Packers’ 11th straight win in the rivalry.
