Company recalls dip because of mold

Lunds & Byerlys is recalling about 500 containers of L&B Lone Star Dip because of potential mold growth contamination.

The recalled product was sold at Lunds & Byerly’s stores throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding area.

There is concern that consumers may have unused portions of the dip in their homes because it has not yet expired.

The following label information can identify the implicated dip: L&B Lone Star Dip, 12-ounce, UPC 1816974197, best-by dates of 10-15-24 and 10-17-24.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall. Store employees first noticed this product concern and notified the company’s Quality Assurance team.

Suppose a customer recently purchased the impacted product. In that case, they are encouraged to return it to any Lunds & Byerlys for a full refund, no receipt required, or destroy the product immediately.
