Paddy Pimblett wins Celebrity of the Year Award in massive achievement for the English UFC superstar

While Paddy Pimblett has proven himself inside the cage, he’s just been acknowledged for his work outside of MMA, winning the Celebrity of the Year Award at the 2024 National Diversity Awards.

The Liverpudlian is renowned for doing his utmost to spread mental health awareness.

Since turning professional in mixed martial arts, Paddy Pimblett has claimed the Cage Warriors title and picked up a plethora of high-level wins in the UFC.

With a dangerous Brazilian jiu-jitsu game and charisma in abundance, the Scouser has cemented his place as one of the biggest stars in UK MMA.

He’s gone above and beyond to use his platform to promote mental health awareness, once utilizing a post-fight interview to stress that those going through a hard time should find someone to talk to.

Taking this further, he’s started the Baddy Foundation, which aims to remove the stigma surrounding depression as well as helping children from low-income families get the same opportunities as everyone else.

His work has been acknowledged, with the mixed martial artist winning the Celebrity of the Year Award at the 2024 National Diversity Awards.
