Best Post-Prime Day Roku deals

Roku is our favorite streaming system, with the most streaming app options, the simplest streaming platform interface and the best search. It also has a content-agnostic platform that doesn’t push any one media streaming service provider, like Amazon Prime Video or Apple, over another. The Express 4K Plus streaming media player is one of the cheapest streaming TV options with 4K HDR. (Even if your current TV doesn’t support those formats, your next one probably will.)

The Roku Streaming Stick 4K features the same simple interface, large app selection and impressive search function found on all Roku devices, but also offers Dolby Vision support. Along with a stick-like design, Dolby Vision HDR is the main difference between the Streaming Stick 4K and the Express 4K Plus and is ostensibly why the Streaming Stick 4K is more expensive than its sibling.

While we think the Streaming Stick 4K is a great device, we’re just not sold on the Dolby Vision upgrade — mostly because we generally don’t think that it provides a major image quality upgrade over standard HDR. But if Dolby Vision is important to you, this device will not disappoint. This deal is so popular that it sold out on Amazon, but you can still snag it at the same price at Walmart.

Starting to be a little outdated but still getting the job done, the Roku Express is only a couple of dollars away from its lowest-ever price at the retailer. Access HD streaming and over 400-plus free live TV channels.

Get a whole 4K TV with Roku’s easy-to-use software built right in and save $90. No need for additional streaming sticks or boxes.

Yes, Prime Day is one of the best chances to pick up a Roku device all year with prices historically falling to record lows during the event. If you’re in the market for an upgraded streaming stick, Roku-powered soundbar or TV set, then the Prime Day sale is usually the time to buy.

Are Roku deals still ongoing after Prime Day?

Yes. Probably because Roku isn’t an Amazon brand, there are still plenty of great discounts left over from Prime Day. Actually, nearly all of the same deals are live. We don’t know how long that’ll last though, so don’t wait around if one catches your eye.
