Evolution launches online live-dealer games in Delaware

Evolution Gaming began offering live dealer games in Delaware on Tuesday (2 July) in partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI). The new offering is part of a bigger trend – in June, BetMGM announced that it will begin offering live-dealer games from its Las Vegas Strip properties in partnership with PlayTech.

The MGM-Playtech partnership will extend beyond the US. Live-dealer games streamed from the Bellagio and MGM Grand will be available to regulated markets outside of the US, as well.

Companies in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia also offer live-dealer games.

Delaware’s igaming market was stagnant until the state partnered with BetRivers, operated by Rush Street Interactive. This year, the market has thrived on the new platform.

As with its online slots, Evolution’s live games will be featured at the Delaware Lottery’s three online casino partners – Delaware Park Casino, Bally’s Dover Casino Resort and Harrington Raceway & Casino. The Delaware Park and Harrington sites are accessible through the BetRivers multi-state platform. Bally’s Dover Casino Resort offers a standalone app.

The latest development follows the Delaware launch of Evolution Group’s March online slots on the BetRivers platform. Evolution Group’s online slots from the NetEnt, Red Tiger and Big Time Gaming brands are available.

Live dealer games now available at BetRivers in Delaware include roulette, blackjack, infinite blackjack, baccarat and craps. In addition, players will find leading poker variants such as Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

“We are delighted to partner again with Rush Street Interactive for another momentous launch in Delaware,” Jacob Claesson, Evolution CEO for North America, said in an Evolution news release. “There has been huge anticipation around the arrival of our live online games in Delaware, particularly since our March 2024 online slots launch, as our unique and innovative live games are so well known and have proved so enormously popular in other US markets.”

Delaware is the sixth US state to go live with Evolution live-dealer games. Claesson said this “further reinforces our standing as the market leader in online gaming in the US”.
