Taylor Swift Experiences Stage Malfunction During Eras Tour Performance in Dublin

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Taylor Swift experienced a stage malfunction during the latest stop on her Eras Tour.

While performing at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, Swift was singing “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” from The Tortured Poets Department, while standing on a platform that featured several individual tiers. All of the different tiers were supposed to slowly slide back into the stage. However, the one Swift was standing on got stuck, according to videos taken by fans and posted on social media.

One of Swift’s backup dancers, who was on another portion of the platform during the performance, noticed the malfunction and walked over to help Swift down. It was all very gracefully done, and she continued singing without missing a beat. Accoring to People, the dancer who helped Swift was Jan Ravnik.

Watch the moment here and here.

Swift is currently in the European leg of her massively successful Eras Tour. She made headlines last week when her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, made a surprise appearance during her London performance.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback came out onstage during a performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” Dressed in a tuxedo and sparkly top hat, he picked up Swift and carried her for her outfit-change bit. He also powdered her face, busted a move and gave a big smile when exiting the stage.
